Her distinguished training includes fellowships from the International Council of Ophthalmology and in General Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery and she is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). She previously served as a consultant at the prestigious St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, building her vast clinical experience within premier tertiary eye institutes.

Her expertise spans the full spectrum of retinal disorders—including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, ROP and complex retinal surgeries—with proficiency in advanced diagnostics, lasers, intravitreal injections and vitreoretinal surgery. Alongside her clinical practice, she has served as an Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology, guiding MBBS students under the CBME curriculum and as a Medical Advisor for AI-driven diabetic retinopathy screening projects.
